1. Heat of chemical reaction taking place at constant pressure of called ______.

2. If heat is absorbed during a chemical reaction, it is called an exothermic reaction.

3. The total energy of the products increase during an endothermic reaction.

4. 53.6 kJ heat energy is required to carry out a chemical reaction, and then 65.88 kJ heat energy will be evolved when the reaction will take place in the reverse direction.

5. Enthalpy of a substance is also called its heat content.

6. One mole of hydrogen chloride gas is produced when half a mole of hydrogen gas reacts with half a mole of chlorine gas.

7. What will be the property of the solution obtained by mixing 50cm of 0.1 M hydrochloric acid solution with 50cm3 of 0.1M sodium hydroxide solution?

8. Heat of reaction is:

9. During an endothermic reaction:

10. During an exothermic reaction:

11. Heat content of a substance depends upon:

12. Why a polystyrene cup is used instead of a glass beaker to find out the heat of neutralization? Short..Answer…….Remember.by.Heart…………….
In neutralization reaction, heat is evolved. Polystyrene cup is an insulator. It also does not absorb or transmit heat. So the results are more accurate than the results obtained by using glass.
